In the blank room found a box with these two blanks unturned the Spanish Olive Wood with a New Guinea Rosewood pair ready for Slimlines.

This was set aside in 2013 with others.

I bought them in France, got a kick out of getting them through a guy in France and besides Olive Wood is so different in the countries it grows.

Always neat to turn, the smell is a pleasure. Same pleasure those years ago when I turned the New Guinea Rosewood wonder if it will turn up on the CITIES list anytime soon.

Peter.

Seriously, lovely bit of wood and I like the way you put the beads etc on. But I only see one pen, did you mean to put both pieces up

and I love the fact you have a "Blank Room" ... brilliant

It is so hot in the workshop but infinitely better than in the past several months.

The blank room had 26 Aquariums set up for years, I kept the steel framework for the tanks, shelved and voila blank room. Its next to the steel room housing the Metal Lathe etc, heaps ofstripped down photocopiers etc, I like their precision rods etc. The steel room had 400 African Violet plants for many years. I thought when I first set eyes on show plants everyone should keep them. The Violet growers are just as passionate as Penmakers, I grew them by hydroponics.
As an enthusiast and contributer it makes it more fun to participate.
