I like it, but for me I would think it would have been that bit better with a wider centre band or even on a streamline pen kit

The design of the pen presents two different canvasses to appreciate. A first for me burning on a pen blank. I hope to see many more. Original and impressive.

I agree with you,Derek I don't like the centre band either. I am working on a modified slimline at the moment so that I can get rid of the centre band altogether.

Now that is something I have never seen, in here or even done.

So well done for a new concept, designs look superb and well carried out.

As per Delboy I ageee the cb looks a little too tight, have you thought of doing one without the cb in place and just use the top and bottom butted together?

With the burnt ring around the pen on each end that you have will serve as a cb effect, that's my thoughts.

Great effect! I bought a pyrography kit a little while back in order to do some decoration on my pens, but haven't done anything with it yet. You've inspired me to make an effort and have a go!

Hi Eamonn, yes the cb does spoil it. I have just finished another just like you suggested. I will post a pic tomorrow when I get on the computer. I am replying to this via my kindle

I never said it spoilt it George, on the contrary it looks superb.

However for me the waistline looks a little tight and over emphasised so in my opinion would look a Million $'s done with slightly bigger waistline.

What you have done is absolutely superb, something I believe its a different method of finishing pens and the workmanship in the pen looks stunning.

I am sure in the hand it looks even better.
