While the main pleasure in pen-making, for me at least, is in turning a blank and bringing it to life with a sparkling finishing, I also find great satisfaction in assembling a high-quality well-engineered kit - and they don't come any better than Phil's Mistral and Tempest ranges. So, I am currently indulging myself with half a dozen Beaufort kits. Here are the first ones off the production line. The first is a Mistral ballpoint in maple burr, the second and third are Mistral fountain pens in thuya burr and turquoise pearl acrylic, and the fourth and fifth are two photos of the same Tempest in brown ebony.

These are real stunners Bob. I've just made 4 Mistrals & I agree about the quality, the service from Phil is also second to none.
