Turned this one yesterday, my first turned with proper woodturning chisels - I've been using those carbide tipped thingies up until now. Bought a Sorby Pro Edge and now I can properly sharpen chisels, so the carbide tools are consigned to the drawer. Anyway, here's the first pen turned, an oblique dip pen made from striped ebony. Finished in wax oil, which gives a lovely silky satin finish.

Thanks everyone! Turning is so much more pleasurable now I have a chisel that actually cuts rather than rubs! :winking:
