Just finished this pen today it's stabilised red scyamore blank from Mr resin blanks on a Taylor midfield omega finished with a melamine laquer and microcrystalline wax

Yeah i am really impressed it's the first stabilised blank i have turned i was unsure whether to finish it like an acrylic blank or timber blank but my thought was it's still timber underneath and it has potential to soak a finish in but all seemed ok
