First time I have turned Yew. My neighbor removed a very old Yew and I got the trunk pieces. Cut one section into 65 pen blanks. I have always been impressed with the Yew you all make.

I like Yew....turns nice and always has interesting grain,colour.....nice job done there Terry:thumbs:

Yew can be the easiest or the hardest to turn. Still, a lovely wood with texture, grain and colour. Nice pen, Terry. Well done my friend.

Sounds like many more Yew pens to go. Nice job Terry. It is a lovely wood to turn and a good finish can be got straight off of the tool.
