Red Bull Celtic Knot

My first attempt at a celtic knot using maple veneer sandwiched between two lengths of drinks can. The timber is elm. Not 100% accurate, I'm going to have to improve the wee jig I made.DSCF0307.jpg

An observation I try to fit the centre size to the outside of the centre band,it would allow you to increase the size of the fancy areas and admire more of the timber.

From respect though I do appreciate this pen as one of quality.
