A super pen Mark. A lovely grain & the gunmetal is a nice contrast.

Could I do better, your comment passed me by Mark,my answer is looking at the brief the state of the timber, provenance that it carries your skills romped it in IMHO fantastic.Olive has so many faces if I can group some of mine from various parts of the world In will. Sapwood variations abound from pure white to darkest swirls. I have numerous logs but it knocks the living daylights out of my big bandsaw breaking them down. My most recent purchase from Bethlehem is making its way to me.

My immediate necessities revolve around the recent giant hailstorm centered on my suburb. next week the Merc gets a new windscreen, new whirlybird vents out of the workshop ( shattered above the lathe to atmosphere ) and 3 more on the house roof that are metal, then, steel ,aluminium and poly roofing in front of the house
,chuck in gutter guard all round the house and workshop,

    Kind regards Peter.

Both the gunmetal kit and that fantastic olive make for a lovely pen, Mark.

Form, Fit and Finish look great even with poor DOF.
    Nicely done.
