Hi All,

Sirocco in Olive wood and Premo clay used for the Celtic Knot. Lost a little bit of clay but it turned out ok with a CA and sawdust fill.

The wood had a lot of cracks as I got close to the finished size. It will all hold together with the CA finish.

Welcome back to the coalface Paul - I've missed your videos. Who knew we're all going to have to invest in pasta machines now eh?

Very nice Paul:thumbs::thumbs:
Nicely done and great video!!
Thank you Angelo.

Thanks for the video, Paul.
Premo clay, I would never have thought of that, though it turned out well.
What is it's drying time before turning?
Alan
Thanks Alan,
The Premo has to be in the oven for 20 minutes at 130c. Once it has cooled down I would say it is ready for use. I turned this a day after making them.

Hi Phil,
It is good to get back in the shed.
I found the pasta machine at the back of a kitchen cabinet having never seen daylight. I bet most homes have one.

Nicely done Paul, looks good.
Cheers John.

Really enjoyed the video having not done a Celtic knot before, thanks Paul

Hi Tony,

When you are setting up the Celtic knot it all seems to be a mess with all the glue and you just see some X's.

But it is great when you start to turn and the pattern starts to reveal.

Enjoy your first Celtic knot.
