    Stopped ends

Hi all, it's been a funny time of late!
Well I am back at a proper lathe now.
Here we have two stopped end Omega's I have made with the use of a pin chuck. The stabalised spalted Walnut came from Mark Lewin and just ooses character. The other Mauser Birch came from Phil Dart and was a pleasure to turn( lovely stuff) both finished with melamine...IMG_20200606_091457.jpg

These are both really lovely. I like the balance, especially the lighter one with the gold.

    Great job Mark.

Hi Dave, I have a few in different sizes, they can be very useful....I turn a lot of bullets into pens and sometimes you can drill through the case
