I don't think I've showed this here but was reminded about it on a FB post.
Bill Mooney sent me this pen in his signature shape a few years back as I'd sent him the crosscut Sycamore blank.
I keep this for showing in turning lessons when appropriate.

Always like to see this shape and yes I did go this way many years ago including other shapes for periods of time. Bill nI do like your pens.
