Happy with how this turned out, burnishing after sanding did the trick :-)

Will see how this now holds up to proper use, it is going to my wife to use for work as a community Nurse.

Nice finish you are getting a good finish with the melamine I have just bought some thinners from Amazon £6 for 1ltr and free delivery but they have sold out of the brand I bought there are others and with next day delivery a bargain I'm still waiting for the melamine to be delivered from Axminster then I can start to finish a pen I'm making in wood.

Chestnut thinners are a tenner for 500ml, I guess any cellulose thinner would do though so will have a look on ebay, cheers!

Very nice finish.... I use mine neat... A few coats.... Leave to dry and then burnish:thumbs::thumbs:
