Our Penpal sent me a bunch of wonderful blanks from down there. Here is what I did with a little but great piece of Conkerberry, framed with desert iron wood, based on a slimline. I never saw any wood with so strange orange hues! Maybe I should have use something darker for the fittings, like Blackwood instead of ironwood, dunno...

Pierre, I've seen your pen before recently, however the photographs on the other site don't show off those orange hues. I like the pen as is and like what you did with the angled centre band.

Never mind the photos, the pen and design are cracking mate, love the different hues between the conkerberry and iron wood. A pen and a half in any ones hands
