Just finishing, with one last turn and Bang. Hadnt happened for years..... so I'm putting it down to a crack and not me!
I had to turn the cap off and lucky enough I had just enough Desert Ironwood to do the cap with cap ends of Acacia.

That would not look out of place next to any of your segmented pens and as above, if you hadn't of said, we would not have known :pray:

Great recovery Alan, as others have said, really wouldn’t have known it had happened.

But I know you are like many on here, (me included:whistling:) we are our own worst critic.

Pen looks superb as if you had planned it that way.
