Hi all,
I have an Amboyna fountain and a Cholla Fountain.... The Cholla was from Dave at Penkitz and Bitz and was very nice to turn with no air bubbles. I did also paint the hole just to be on the safe side.. IMG_20220517_120933_edit_486849026550188.jpgIMG_20220517_121105_edit_486887817796016.jpg

Two cracking pens, Mark. Very nice indeed.
Lovely piece of Amboyna burr.

I have a piece of cholla cactus that I havent turned yet. Other than painting the hole any other tips I need?

Great couple of pens Mark, I have seen the Cholla but never turned one. Now I have seen that I will have to "add to order" on my next order from Dave.,

Hi Eamonn, the Cholla from Dave turns and polishes really nice and easily. The bugger is drilling it so you keep the hole in the middle of the cactus...
Fortunately the client for this wanted gaps or 'features':ciggrin:
