Looks like a very well made and finished pen to me
Can't see anything unusual.
So I'll guess that it isn't really a pen. Is it the worlds smallest nuclear submarine?
Great idea to dust the CA with brass powder - how do you ensure even coverage? I'm thinking using a sieve or something like that? Not sure what the twist is but you really are a tease, you naughty naughty man you!
David, I just dropped the powder on the pen just after the ca had been applied and it was still spinning and did it over several coats.
Terry, No its not x cut.
Frankie, Spot on, its a screw fitting.
Paul did you use a dog standard barrel trimmer and how did you glue the tube in
did you have to blank the ends off with spud im just thinking of the fine threads being clogged or damaged nice well done.
I glued the tubes in with ca in the normal way I would. I just push the end into the blank about 1/8th inch then put the ca on the tube and push it in and out, twisting it to ensure the glue spreads over it and then just right in.
I used s conventional barrel trimmer but was very careful not to take too much off the end but apart from that it was the same as a normal slimline. I did have concerns over using ca as a finish because I use a lot and the bushes go inside the barrel but didn't need to worry as they came out fine.
