Segmented mahogany and Oak

Did this to test out the new belt sander and mitre setup, I drilled the Oak cap as 1 then cut it,also drilled the mahogany strip and then assembled onto the tibe to keep everything aligned..hope you like it :)

I planned on a set with an oak band and mahogany cap and body but it broke while turning

Good work Matt! :thumbs: Love the chatoyance of the Mahogany against the Oak, it really pops out.:bravo:

That's lovely, when I first saw it I thought you had used leather, but then I read it and see it was mahogany:thumbs:
