Pimp my tool rest...

I've got a good general lighting set up but sometimes it's nice to have lighting on the tool rest....think those magnetic led lights that can be bought for £20. For under a fiver I got a 1 metre strip of led lights which I used 15cm of to make this...

It's sticky backed and waterproof and only neede a piece of wire soldering to it with a 5mm socket. I use a 12v power supply I already had.

Without LEDs on...

Think I will have to give this a go when the new lathe arrives. I have an old set of xmas tree lights that are similar to little spot lights. They work off a couple of triple a batteries.
