Been a while since I turned any acrylic and I am sure the last lot I did was not as brittle as this one.

I think this will shatter if dropped :rolling:

Ha ha ha you bin found out LOL Glue on the inside of the tube is a common cause of that I always run a slim knife blade round the inside

Wood is good!!... Acrylic can be a rather difficult, I always run a rats tail file through my blanks, then a small flue brush and finish with a couple of twists of a snail countersink.... Sounds a lot but takes moments and can help stop mistakes...
BTW if your checking your pens finish or marks/scratches take a quick picture on your mobile phone... You can zoom in and check the flaws.... Really handy:winking:
Just remember to delete the picture so you don't post it on a forum by mistake :rolling:
