This would of been a nice pen except for one thing, the pen is too small for the blank!!!

I thought I was making a Zeta and drilled a 9mm hole in the blank, the zeta bushes fitted perfectly in the tube.

When it came to assembly I could push the bits in with absolutely no resistance, I tried another zeta kit on the blank and the same happened.

I have ended up super gluing both ends to stop them falling out.

Todays lesson learnt (well 2 days really) was to check the parts with the tube before drilling. I have checked the other Zeta kit I have and there is resistance when pushing the end in, I will get that drilled and turned over the next few days.

Zeta Pen
Mr Resin Blank
Dry Abranet sanded to #600
Wet and dry pads (Wet)
G3
Super Glue (To keep it all in place)

That's a natty looking pen, I have had similar issues with the mix match of Sierra and Sirocco kits but not with any others:praying::praying:

Glad you like it mate,
I only super glued it (and made it useless) because it genuinely looks good in real life so to speak.
Those Mr Resin Blanks are a dream to turn with great results and no I do not work there :funny:

I will try and get into a habit of checking the parts before turning from now on, should only take an extra minute or so providing I don't drop anything :winking:
