Hi, Guys,

Not as cold in the workshop as yesterday (when Sir Ranulph Fiennes popped in to say hello, spent five minutes, then left saying it was too fecking cold for him) so got busy making a pen. This is a chrome Euro wearing the Timberbits "Carmine with Black Lines" which seems to be a popular one on our site. It shines like glass! Finished with usual grits to 1500, wire wool, and three coats of metal polish.
One thing I've corrected since posting this is removing the powdered metal polish around the lower part of the centre band.

Many thanks for your comments, chaps - muchly appreciated!

Yes, turnaround, it does. There is also a very "sultry eye" on both halves of the pen, and they seem to be sending me an enticing message. "Come hither, come hither. I can make you extremely happy. You have only to ask." Well, matey, lemme tell yuh, I'm extremely tempted to accept the invitation, but there's problem - if the pen turns out to be the wrong gender then I'm up Shite Street without a shovel!:thumbs::thumbs:
