Too big, Too dark, too round, too much grain, too much bark. A waste of a load of pen blanks you could have shared out, I don't like dad.:tongue:

I love it once again you surpass yourself init?:love_it:

Just out of sheer nosiness but what would something like that sell for ?

And is that a recess on the base for holding it in the chuck to hollow out ?

Not sure it took half a day to make the blank has to be worth £45 so it has to be 3 figures I would think about £150 at least

Woody,

Your shaping of this bowl reflects the angle of approach, the final result worth the time spent and effort. I am not into pricing at all here let alone over there. I keep on thinking about your love of this form of turning I have to shed around 150 bowl blanks and have another shed with a lot of cut trees in stacks has your mate gone back from Aus to the uK yet? There are a few pieces of old Huon Pine not burled but lovely to turn. Also nearly a ton of offcut Huon pieces that would make your style objects like mushrooms.

Kind regards Peter.:rolling::thinks:
