Thank you Mark. I don't often post photos of my pens because most of my output is from whisky casks and they all look the same. So I'm delighted you like this one. Thanks very much for the honour.

I think its not only a good turned pen....but may be a bit of a game changer.....we need a new Sierra type pen. I think its great what has been produced so far from off this forum its about time the UK struck back at the pen market:face:

Hope this isn't a daft question...but does this pen operate by twist action or click? Only it says click pen with twist mechanism so I'm confused...it doesn't take much ;) Very nice by the way...

It's not a daft question Lee - in fact you've highlighted a typo on the Beaufort Ink website (which I've just corrected by the way). The answer is that it's a twist action pen.

Glad to be of help... ;) Think I'll have to order myself one of the GM and G Sciroccos...my lathes been out of action after a small fire in the workshop but I'm currently on with replacing things so looking forward to turning pens again real soon.
