Had this for about 4 months or so, kept picking it up and thinking "Don't know what to do with you" and putting it down.

Finally decided yesterday.

5 inch dia x 4 inch high, hollowed with the Simon Hope (lovely tool) sanded to 600 and sanding sealer then friction polish finish.

The dilemma of what to do with a deep blank but a small diameter? Should it be a lidded bowl or slice it in two for two smaller dishes? But you have shaped that beautifully, it could so easily have been clumsy but that's nicely shaped and very graceful, you get a full frontal of a beautiful wood with the design simplicity. Love it.

Ah Phil, that's really great, i really like the shape, with the curve on top coming back in. Brilliant.
