One of the pens I turned today was a Slimline Stylus dressed in polyester.
I didn't like the look with the original centre band, so swapped it for one from a Streamline

Maybe just a bit on the bulbous side for me Chas, but i take nothing away from the workmanship that has gone into this my friend, you have got a great finish on the pen BTW .. :bwink:

I like the shape Chas and the finish on them looks really good. Shape, style, material preference is something that is always down to the individual. The first time that I had a sale of some of the slimline pens that I made I had quite a good selection of exotic hardwoods and some stunning looking acrylics. My first 2 sales were Oak ones??

Sometimes you've gotta go with you're gut instinct 'in flight' when making these pens and there is nothing wrong with this despite being fat, in yer face and a squidgy bit on the end. Love it

Chas this material acts like a chick ( strange expression meaning woman per se) magnet in pens, gets immediate attention as its my carry pen different shape to yours but when lined up quite striking and popular, I understood instantly when you said not what you started to do happens to me all the time
Beaut pen mate.
