Thought id try making a ball jig
been asked to make 12 balls
so just tried it..made from bits
in the shed

Started by fileling the shaft of
an old bench grinder

then fitted a bearing in the top
and bottom of an old tool rest
at this point i forgot to keep
taking pics but i started again
further on so Il just load some
pics and youll get it...

A stroke of genius there young Frankie, I take it the tool goes through the tube to maintain a set cut and then swivels around the blank?
Very innovative, I like it.

Yes Brian seen some for sale
but I like to save were I can so

Done a similar thing meself for making newel post caps.
Ain't done none for ages now there was a run on em for a while but that died out.

The hardest part was drilling a 7mm hole through the support shaft
Its just about using what's available .:thumbs:

That's what we like to see. Good old fashioned build it yourself. A great looking jig quality and performance wise. :bravo:
