I have the lathe and most of the kit I need to start making pens. Lot of info on here to read as I'm very green. So far all I've managed to create is a mess. Looking forward to creating some family heirlooms.

Hi and welcome to the mad house. We have all been there and made a mess. Ask any questions you may have, someone on here will be able to answer your queries.

Hello and welcome aboard Tony.

Two things you should know,
1) You have joined a wonderful forum, the folks on here are so helpful and will give you all the answers you need to progress your pen turning journey. Don't be afraid to ask questions. No questions are "silly" questions so ask away.

2) Post pics of what you make, we like lots and lots of pics.
Oh have I mentioned that you should ask questions :whistling:
