The Beaufort Mistral range are slimmer than most pens other than a classic slimline and are both available and customisable should you wish. Supply it in a velvet sleeve and it can be slipped into a purse or bag.:pray:

I gave up trying to figure out what a feminine pen was. They surprise you by wanting the same thing as guys. Well maybe only a few want cartridge and bolt action pens. Just as many liked the bigger cigar sized pens as like slimline. The smaller Sierra pens like the Elegant Beauty were more popular because of the smaller diameter but the wasn't a given. The purse size doesn't matter either since they can pack just about anything in them no matter how big they are including curling irons and hair driers. I would try to find out what they like in size, twist or click, refill type and most importantly the kind of blank they like. If it is a surprise gift then you need to talk to the people close to them.

The finial thing pretty much puts you in the capped pen types.
