They look too good to be mushrooms mate, definitely and unmistakably Laburnum and Yew init?
Turn em from crap wood and leave some bark on em good enuf for mushrooms.
Looking good Chas. when I turn mine I mount the branch wood slightly of centre so when I turn my mushroom I leave a bit of bark & sapwood on one die of the cap & heartwood on the other side. I also try to leave a rim of bark round the foot as an added feature. I also tend to taper my stalk it looks more pleasing on the eye. Hope this helps, all things to experiment with.
Shape size and significance with mushrooms right up with Woody who makes exciting mushrooms I know he is in the middle of moving but he might come in on this one.
