Letter Opener

Just made this letter opener in acrylic.

The photo's make it appear all white yet in reality it has more of a marble effect.

I used CA to glue the tube in place but for some reason it did not hold/glue anywhere, only found out assembling it, maybe I should try gorilla glue next time. Also I am not sure if maybe I should paint the tube white next time as it seems to be ever so slightly semi transparent. Once it is all assembled the fact that it is not glued does not seem to make any difference so wondering if I dodged a bullet or it does not need gluing at all.

Hi mate, don't paint the tube... Paint the inside of the hole, I use acrylic paints and a cotton bud... Let it dry and then Gorilla glue the tubes.... Yes it takes planning, but it's not let me down yet.
Nice job though and I like the kit used

I sand my tubes with 80 grit to give as good key for the glue.
