    Turners' jacket

    I am in the need of a new turners' smock. The one I have been using for a couple of years is now (sadly) coming to the end of its days. Glue, paint, cuts and tears have taken their toll. It is an Axminster one which has been OK but it is very thin and was looking for something tougher, like...

    Wood/ Denim Pen salvaged plus stained pen

    The first two pictures show a pen I tried to make/made from sandwiching denim into a blank. I apologise for the quality of the photos and poor lighting - I'll have to rig up something better. As you can see in the third picture things didn't go according to plan when the end of one of the blanks...
