    NPR Cookie Consent and Choices This is drone footage of Mayfield Kentucky. Just one of many towns damaged in the path of this monster. The tornado that destroyed this town was 2 miles wide.

    We were very lucky last night. Two massive fronts collided, one cold, one warm. Wind speeds up to to 60 mph produced many tornadoes. The closest was 10 miles south of me. Further south a F5 tornado on the ground for 250 miles produced horrible destruction and so far 50 deaths...
