    Chuck Jaws

    When a chuck is not tightened up or even on the lathe what level of movement is acceptable? I have the allen keys tightened on the individual jaws and the chuck is open about 12mm (gap between top of jaws) and I have movement on each jaw of about 2mm towards the centre and outside of chuck is...
