I was after a new Chuck and Axminster were out of stock on the one I wanted and I come across the Viper3 which I had always avoided but this time I thought give it a go well it arrived this morning and I was impressed so time to try it out and to my surprise it is a great Chuck it turned a 9” bowl with no problems it had a positive purchase on the wood turning both the outside and the inside it isn’t as heaven as the Axminster but sometimes that can be a blessing for less money than the axe Chuck you get the full set up

That's a lovely piece of Yew mate, well showcased on the bowl..... I don't use a chuck too much, so can't comment on its merits but, if your happy it must be good!:thumbs:
