    Great grandson bowl

We have just got a new great grandson and I thought a little bowl was ideal way as a gift.

So came up with this bowl with his name and date of birth on it.

It has three little feet for a change. It is about 7" diameter as I did not get chance to measure it, I also had to get the Grandson to take the pictures for me

Congrats Derek and welcome to the world Jackson :)

I really like the bowl, specially the three little feet.

I wish I'd become a woodturner before my kids were born as I'd love to have a little porridge bowl they used as babies. Somehow wouldn't have quite the same heart string tugging capabilities now they're teens...

That’s lovely. Congratulations on the new great grandson. I am sure he will treasure that when he gets old enough.

Very nice bowl, lovely grain and a thoughtful gesture to a new child.

Thank you all. I tried to keep it simple that is one reason for finding the right blank for the job not too fussy grain so the letters stood out.
