For years I have been using Photo Gallery for all my Pen Photo Editing. I have changed my computer to a Windows 10 that will not let me use Photo Gallery.
I am looking for a Free Basic Editor nothing special. Ideas please.

I have an old 16mp DSLR, and a much newer 24mp MILC but I take nearly all my snaps for posting online with one of my iPads. It’s so quick and easy to take a snap and then carry out basic edits on the iPad with the included Photos App.

When I do use one of my digital cameras I have over half a dozen packages I can use on my iMac, most of them free. I haven’t settled on one yet.

As a long time photographer, film & digital, the best photo editor I've found is Adobe Lightroom. Now it's not cheap but very easy to use. Not sure you can buy stand alone copies now though, I've used it since it first came out even handles scans from my 5 x 4in. field camera

I agree, Picasa Was my favourite for years until Google dumped it for their awful Google photos, Photoscape X is the best replacement I have found to date
