Hi all,
I tend to do a lot of Levech fountain pens and indeed after this one soldIMG_20200213_180543_868.jpg
The customer now wants a pencil in a similar jacket, OK I can sort the blank but what kit should I use?
Beaufort Mistral? Sirocco (with pencil conversion) I don't want to go slim/streamline (or should I?) are there any other options I'm missing:thinks::thinks:

Hi Mark,
I have made Mistral pencils for ages. Never has one let me down yet. With your skills, you may be able to doctor a Mistral pencil kit into a Leveche kit? with the same coating.

I like the TM Athena/Athena 88 as I prefer the click mechanisms for the pencil…..

All personal preference and opinions and I’m certain whichever you choose it will look great!

I agree with Kelvin pittswood

With your skills mate you should be aiming to get the pencil looking as close to a leveche as possible.
I genuinely think you could pull it off and it would look awesome.

Now may I take this moment and recommend getting a box from silver

Happy now Eamonm silver :ciggrin::whistling::whistling::whistling:

Cheers all, the clients only restraint was the wood, he didn't want the levech to match anything so I think it's going to be a Mistral :thumbs::thumbs:

No you didn't..... Your on commission from Eamon, not Phil:funny::funny:

Oh you're right :goesred:

I always find that the Mistral pencils and Eamonm's silver boxes look good together.

Darned big hole I trying to dig myself out of here :ciggrin:
