PS, can i submit myself for moron of the month,
i used the wrong bushes on the other one :goesred::rolling::rolling:, thats why it didnt turn right...i shall take myself off to the naughty step and give myself a darn good thrashing.... after ive cut the grass

Personally mate I think you are beating yourself up way further that you need to.
Most people (I think) would be overjoyed at producing something like that, I know I would be :thumbs:

Nigel, if that knot is one of your early ones, then you have done a great job.
They need a lot of practice and an accurate jig.
I find them more accurate if you don't cut all the way through, and then match the infill thickness to the width of the kerf.
They look better balanced if you cut the second cut at 180 degrees rather than 90.

dont get me wrong, im very happy with the outcome. i would just be happier if all the lines joined up where they were meant to ( minor case of ocd i think )

Sir that is a very good attempt not many get a perfect match all the way round from what I can see yours only has one very slight misalignment bloody well done I have seen many Celtic knots by so called professionals that aren’t as good as yours and none of them show all 4 sides I wonder why lol
