I haven't even got that close!!

i saw a vid on youtube which was the game changer for me..the trick is not cutting all the way through the blank and finding in fill material thats the same thickness as the cut you make...the first piccie has 24 inlay pieces, the second piccie is me getting ideas above my current talent :funny:

Love the first one, deffo worth doing. The 2nd one is getting there.

Only thing I would do is increase the angle so you get a wider effect.

the second one was a mix, one at 30 and one at 45 degrees..i just didnt line up the middle..as for wider angle on the first one, i will try once ive figured out how to on the bandsaw as the slider is too far from the blade...ill figure summat out though...next one ill use different material, too many glue spots on that one :thumbs:
