Very pleased with these, the Laburnum was cut down 18 months ago in a friends garden, been in my shed since. Best thing is .... I have loads :winking::winking::winking:

The grain is beautiful, very hard wood.

1st Sedona's ... Nice chunky pen, goes together well .... except when you can't find a trim ring, search everywhere, e-mail the supplier (Dan) then find it 10 feet from where it should be, then e-mail the supplier (Dan) to let him now you are really thick ...:duh:

Good looking pens made from some lovely wood. If laburnum looks as good as that, I need to get hold of some!

Seen some of Brad's work up close Bob and the laburnum on a couple of different pens - and even these great pics don't show what a beautiful piece of timber this is. Even better he gave me a bit :thumbs:

A truly beautiful wood, is laburnum! I was fortunate to be given some when they cleared a tree along by me. Took a while to dry but it was worth the wait. And you've made a couple of lovely pens there, matey - and great photos, too, well done!
