Hello all,
It’s been awhile since I last posted a picture of one of My pens, so I thought I’d show this Omega FP dressed in cross cut Zebrano. I had to keep stopping to soak the blanks in thin ca to stop any possibility of explosion, it worked, this time, I got away with it. Stunning pen and great choice of wood, I have a few zebrano " stumps" left over from some pens, might just try glue ing them together (try to match the grain) to make up a cross cut blank, anyone ever done this , if so does it work ?????

John just this week I had conversation with a special bloke in The USA. His lately selling blanks include this timber that has been infused with plastic ,this would solve all my problems using Zebrano.

I digressed though I admire your win over adversity with this pen of yours mate.The blank coupled with the gold kit finished up so well. The top picture shows the whole of the pen clearly. There must be some Irish in you with the last two to be sure to be sure. So many timbers and kits these days making for exciting times. Thanks for sharing this pen.

Fantastic looking pen.....nicely matched to the kit.....well done on your perseverance.. cross cut timber is never easy and especialy Zebrano.....tiny little splinters either bullet hard or very soft.:thumbs::thumbs:
