    Su ply and demand

A custom order, I did one a while ago and just after it sold another customer came to purchase the same. So I was asked to make another.... Where did I get that blank??
Long story short, a quick order to Penn state industries, but don't only buy 1 blank 3 will give me a spare for co👌k ups and 1 for a repeat.... Well that went wrong these were a pita to drill and I broke two cap blanks... But I did get there so here we have a Levech in camo ply... IMG_20210518_184501.jpg

Hi Bill, it looks like Dymondwood, but is a lot softer, nowhere near as much resin.... Tbh Dymondwood is a pain to turn and drill, but way more stable.... Shame they never rebuilt the factory after the fire!

That's a right smart looking pen. I like the pattern cut on a bias. I only turn this material after stabilizing. A lot less heartache.
I went to the local Kleptomaniacs Anonymous meeting last night. All the seats were taken.
