I almost did not manage to do this pen due to the blank breaking, Well I say breaking but I think exploding would be a better description.
Not sure what the wood was but it was very "powdery" in that it was only giving off dust and not ribbons.
Once that happened I decided to use one of the oak blanks I cut up the other day.
Same result with the finish, it is really letting the pen down and I am struggling to get it right.

Pen :- Rocket Bullet Pen
Wood :- Oak
Finish :- Sanding sealer, Melamine, Carnauba Wax
Time :- 2 hours 20 mins
