I must say it was lucky there was no pen turners in the Victory's crew or Nelson would have had a hard time to keep it afloat.

When I was an apprentice many, many years ago I worked on HMS Victory. No, I didn’t help build her! I may be old but not that old. I was lucky enough to make some of the rigging blocks that as far as im aware are still being used. That’s my claim to fame. Lovey pens by the way.![]()
