Penpal and I have recently bought some Ringed Gidgee pen blanks, and I must say that this is my favourite wood now! It is hard to turn, it is tough, and so dense that it will sink in water even when fully dry. I was so keen to make a pen, so here it is. (Somehow web site up-scales the images, so that they look different, than intended at 100% view)

It's certainly a lovely looking wood and a great finish you have put on it:thumbs:

That is a super pen, very nicely turned and finished with a cracking piece of wood
