Hi all!
I tried to speed up kitless turning this week. Nothing better than making series I suppose, with some colour changes for variety.
But they were not as quickly done as I wished :apologetic:, more work ahead...

Roughly how long does it take you to make a kitless pen? I would love to have a go eventually if ever I have the time.

Paul, it takes me around 6 or 7 hours in acrylic with a clip for one pen, a bit less in series, without glue curing time. I prefer to measure twice and cut once, that takes a lot of time and could be sped up. I am getting better though, my first kitless took me three days!

Unbeatable hand Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, and Green. Game over serious pens, lovely changes and features, delicate threads.Delicate centre bands. Infinite attention with the matching dots in the clips,other cour strips, tops etc. Such detail and effects came together altogether so much to appreciate Pierre. Well worth the wait.

Very nice indeed. Some nice design details with finials. Nicely shaped sections too. And neat threading in acrylic - always cracks when I try!

A fine looking collection Pierre. They are the same style as the one you won a competition with on the forum last year. I loved that one too, and I think the style you have adopted for these is spot on. Extremely professional and highly saleable I would say.
