Hello from Lincolnshire

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to say hello an introduce myself. I am a reasonably new turner and have been turning boxes, wands, bowls since last summer on and off, due to house extension work. I got a pen mandrel from Santa this year and have just started using it so thought I would find a forum for tips and ideas!

I have managed two pens last weekend one in box wood the other in walnut - I think I may have found a new addiction to go with the boxes and bowls!

Thanks everyone for the welcome - looks like I'll be able to pop up some pictures later if all my work pen related - might add a few other pictures of my other work too.

Question - will I need to put my pictures of bowls boxes etc in the correct section of the forum or as I've just joined shall I pop them all on this thread?
