    Well this started with my post asking about what wood shouldn't we use for pens. One moderator, Phil, said Balsa wood. So up for a challenge I bought a piece of 12mm X 12mm and cut it to fit a slim line kit that I had. Drilling no problem. First CA glued tube, in, second CA glued tube stuck...

    Turning cellulose paint

    Hi I have just been given some pieces of cellulose paint cracked from an old car and it has many layers. I have cut two pieces into 12mm square blanks and will hopefully turn a twist pen Any advice on turning layered paint?? Regards

    Which way!!

    OK quick question....this is for a jnr gent...as can be seen from the picture it obviously has an orientation it looks to be 13mm on the right which would be the middle band and 12mm on the left which is the bottom....but i think that puts the blank upside down...is this just me or should this...
