    Cedar Bowl

    Latest effort. Had terrible trouble with tear out at the bottom of the bowl but managed to get it all out in the end. Cheers Frederick (these were the correct way up pn my computer)

    Natural edged bowl

    Natural edged bowl made this a little chunky. Turned from Ash and while turning it found two nails in it which I managed to get out without wrecking my tools. Finished with acrylic sander sealer and satin lacquer. Measures 5 1/2" X 3".

    An Ash platter

    Nice piece of Ash, turned a few weeks ago, finished with oil. Diameter is 195mm, 30mm internal depth. Split runs through to the back and is just visible in the bottom of the bowl. Must have been a very stressed tree! As always, C&C please. Thanks, Chriscb

    Two sheds full of blanks and still can't find one of the right type of wood or correct sizes that I want. There must be over 200 blanks either bowl or spindle this is going to break my heart as I just may have to go and buy some unless I can get some sycamore
