    I thought I would have a go at turning a square dish. It's not quite even though, but for a first effort it's not too bad. The wood is Elm which I find difficult to work at times. It was very dry as it has been kicking around for a while. More practising tomorrow and looking forward to...

    I had this lot delivered today from a friend for Pens for heroes 56 1" square pen blanks and a stack of 4" sq disk of corian type material and a big lump about 12" sq x 1" thick which I'm tempted to turn a dish from
